Two Useful Utility Pages

OK, maybe they're not so useful, but who knows, maybe you can find a use for them.

First of all, I have created a rudimentary GET and POST variable dumper. I generally use it in conjunction with the Firefox DOM Inspector, which can change the action tag of webpage forms. I can then point the forms to http://spore.ath.cx/~dan/dump.php to view the GET and POST data from those forms.

I have also provided a page to display the client screen size that javascript supports. I couldn't figure out the display size on my mobile phone so I wrote this web page to tell me. Maybe you can find a use for it too.

Dan's Photo Gallery

I finally got around to deploying some photo gallery software for myself. My photos are all saved on the media site, but you don't have access to that unless you've gotten a username and password from me. The public has access only to my selections, accessible at the gallery page.

About My Network

My network is super cool. I don't really do it justice, but I do try to introduce it here.

My New Blog

I know it's cliché right now to have a blog. That's exactly why I thought it might be fun to build a blogging engine. The results are to become my blog, I guess – my commentary on the world, and something that once in a while just might manage to justify a visit to my site.

Some day soon I hope to justify its existance; for now, you'll have to content yourself reading some misguided musings.

About Spore

Spore is my personal webspace. It's here that I put up links to most of the noteworthy content on my webserver. But you already know that, since you're looking at the page right now.

Accounts

Accounts for email and web service are available. Interested parties should inqure with the webmaster.

My web server runs apache2 and your data will be backed up every hour or so, granted that you don't put anthing too large on your site. Email accounts here have their mail automatically spam-filtered by SpamAssassin.

As you can see, the site has changed a little. You can still find all the same links, but you may have to look to the 'links' bar on the left or the user page area on the right.
